This year we grew out some extra potatoes and onion sets in the community garden and have donated these to a food pantry. The potato types included Russet Burbank, La Ratte Fingerling, and German Butterball, as well as a few others, and yielded about 3 1/2 bushels:
The onions included Stuttgarter yellow onions and Red Baron red onions and yielded a bit more than a bushel:
